Sarah Brennan nominated for Lincoln Academy Student Laureate Award
Chancellor Jones has approved the Selection Committee’s nomination of Sarah Brennan for this year’s Lincoln Academy Student Laureate Award. She was nominated by Cassie Meinert.
Sarah Marie Brennan will graduate in May 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and a Minor in Spanish, and she has earned a 3.95 on a 4.00 scale. She has volunteered with Best Buddies, through the Kinesiology Student Association, and in various medical settings. Sarah participated in research in the Exercise and Neuroscience Research Laboratory, and she studied abroad in Granada, Spain for one semester, engaging in community service there as well. She has been in a leader in Student Alumni Ambassadors as iHelp Agencies Co-Director and with Alpha Xi Delta Sorority as Recording Secretary. Sarah is a Chancellor's Scholar and a James Scholar in the College of Applied Health Sciences, and she was awarded the Helga M. Deutsch Scholarship.
